The Orangutan Eriaz Nagusha is a Sumatran deity that represents the balance between Bravery and Cowardice.
The story was that Nagusha was sitting high in a treetop above a Banana sellers stall. Hungry and Desperate for food, Nagusha jumped down and tried to cackle loudly and scare the shop owner away and snag a banana. Carrying out half of the plan, Nagusha then caught a whim of the shopkeeper upon jumping down and cackling and became terrified. Panicking and distraught by the tall Man Nagusha ran back up the tree only to build up the courage to try it again tomorrow, repeat the same cowardice in the face of the shopkeeper and run away. This was apparently done several times in the tale.
