1. More than an umpteenth time. Defines something that has happened so many times it's excruciatingly painful. Causes migraines and mental breakdowns. For large groups of people has lead to protests and a riot or two.

2. The closest number to infinity.

Can be used as a political, economic, or parenting term.

In political context it always has something to do with Doniella Frump Jr.
In economic context its used to colloquially express frustration or exasperation at a recurring event.

1. We have asked the government to release the Epstein files for the Epsteinth time. Our president, who is listed in those files, some Epsteinth time, still refuses.

2. The United States is going thru a economic crisis for the Epsteinth Time, thanks to the president that is in the Epstein files more than an Epsteinth time.

3. Mom told me to do the dishes for the Epsteinth Time, I didn't, now I'm grounded until my 18th birthday.

Mexican time machine

While at work, to use the bathroom for before lunch/break. Usually an average of 10 minutes, however it’s not unusual to last up to 30 minutes. Bathroom use does not necessarily have to happen.

Julian: where are you going Luke? It’s not lunch yet for another 15 minutes!

Luke: I know, guess I’ll just have to use the Mexican Time Machine!

screen time rivalry

In this phenomenon, there are always countless other people with way more screen time than the amount of screen time you're able to have. It's because the country with world's highest screen time (Indonesia, 6.05 hours per day) is also the 4th most populous country in the world, housing 270 millions of inhabitants.

Every time I check my screen time stats, I feel the pressure of the screen time rivalry, especially knowing Indonesia has the highest average at over 6 hours a day!

When you say you don't have time for something, what you're really saying is, "This is not a priority for me right now." The 'no time' excuse is seductive because it sounds reasonable and removes personal responsibility. Research has found that it's socially acceptable to be busy, even admirable in our culture, which is why so many people lean on that excuse rather than just admitting the truth: 'This isn't my main focus right now.'

When my girl friend asked me to help her Chemistry assignment, I was like, 'I don't have time,' but really I just wanted to binge-watch my favorite show instead.

screen time as the sole hobby

When being in front of screens, e.g. doomscrolling on your smartphone for hours on end, now becomes the only hobby your have. This is because screen time has made you lose the interest on the hobbies you once enjoyed, hence you now prone to missing important things in life.

Ever since I got a new iPhone, I experience the phenomenon of screen time as the sole hobby; I spend hours doomscrolling and completely ignore my old passions like painting and hiking. It’s like I’m missing out on life while stuck in a digital bubble.
