yyxy is composed of four girls held in a separate dimension called Eden. In “love4eva”, it’s revealed that if they eat their individual Forbidden Fruit, they are expelled from Eden. They soon feel trapped and adventurous, so Yves convinces Chuu and Go Won to eat their forbidden fruit and escape with her. Olivia Hye also wants to go but is not brave enough to eat her fruit. They leave without her.

The act of attempting to maximise one's looks and sexual market value, or SMV. This can be achieved through softmaxxing, for instance taking care of one's skin and hair, or through hardmaxxing, which typically involves getting dangerous facial surgery such as bimaxillary osteotomy, canthoplasty, orbital box osteotomy and jaw implants. Softmaxxing is an almost guaranteed to improve one's looks and is cheap, hardmaxxing tends to produce uncanny results and can make one look worse, and are more dangerous and expensive.

Looksmaxxing was created by involuntary celibates on now defunct forums and the still operational site, 4chan back in the late 2000's and early 2010's. It has recently received global mainstream attention on the internet due to its sudden rise in popularity on TikTok and YouTube from 2022-current.
