To change the subject at the request of a friend who doesn't want to discuss something uncomfortable in a large social setting. I.e. if someone brings up your friend's boyfriend and they just broke up, or her job and she just got let go, you talk-block and change the subject quickly.

Hey, if someone asks me about work tonight, will you talk-block? I don't want to talk about how I just got fired...

Essentially getting cock blocked from completing a level on Candy Crush Saga by the growing chocolate bar.

This is what happens to you when you are playing Candy Crush Saga, and the chocolate seems to intentionally grow in such a way that it prevents you from breaking it, or grows in the opposite direction of the only match close enough to break it.

Chocolate grows in the location of the "X"

One who prevents the person or persons they are hanging out with from getting free alcoholic beverages, sometimes in the form of a case of beer, from an interested suitor. The suitor refrains from delivering the beverages because they believe they would be cock blocking the case blocker.
