Digital brand influence is the sum of all online behavior relevant to a single brand. Digital brand influenced is expressed with a score (digital brand influence score). This score is a super metric (an aggregation) of other simple metrics, used to measure individual behaviors. Digital brand influence is measured within the context of a digital brand network, a new marketing model designed to monitor, map, measure and manage brand influence online.

Leading brands in the cola category tend to demonstrate more digital brand influence than the leading brands in the bottled water category, according to the latest digital brand influence scores.

Digital Dance Divide

The digital dance divide refers to the gap between people with effective access to dance games (e.g. Dance Dance Revolution, Just Dance, Dance Party, etc ..) and those with very limited or no access at all. This can be seen in the field during a high school dance where a group of students show great skills in repeating solo dance moves in the game(s) and the rest displaying only rudimentary moves.

This high school dance is lame. Most of the people are just standing there. Just a few Just Dance nerds in the corner, showing off. Must be Digital Dance Divide.
