Wanker bands are bands made for wankers. Wanker band is a pejorative term usually used for bands which have repetetive, boring, and unimaginative songs, riding on the wave of a current trend. A prime example of a wanker band are Little Man Tate.

This is usually due to lack of penis size and engine cubic inches.
