faux nap

The act of resting typically on a couch or bed without sleeping. Usually this involves being engaged in an activity such as watching a movie or reading a book (knitting also qualifies).

Aw, I'm so tired. I think I'll faux nap and watch Braveheart.

Person 1: Also, mom says its your turn to cook for family dinner in 30 minutes.
