The period following any surgical procedure (involving general anesthesia) where one feels like absolute crap for a duration of time. For most shorter procedures, this period can literally be mere hours. The hangover includes both the time in the recovery room, as well as the complete recovery back to how you felt prior to surgery.
For longer, more complicated procedures however, that period can take several days before you start feeling like a human being again.
As with traditional hangovers, when you're having the surgical variety, you tend to feel not unlike death warmed over.

I had a 5 hour brain surgery the other day and I'm still feeling the hell. I swear, I have a major surgical hangover!

the same effects as a hangover from alcohol - dizziness, strained eyesight, lack of concentration/short-term memory - except from playing video games all night.
I was playing COD all night on my cousin's new TV, and I can't read the computer screen this morning.
Dude, you're got a video game hangover.

The after effects of playing Gran Turismo for long amounts of time include: The urge to ram other cars on the road while driving in real life; the desire to go as fast as your car possibly can; the yearning to pass four cars on one turn of the road.
LaTrez: Yo! I've been trying to crash all these bitches up on the highway.
Dee: Sounds like you've got Gran Turismo hangover

The sensation resulting from the over-consumption of alcoholic beverages after being unexpectedly upgraded to first class on a flight. The free nature of the beverage service causes the individual to consume more than he/she normally would in a public setting.
Boss: Tim, you seem out of it today. Experiencing jet lag from your trip back yesterday?
Tim: No Sir, I have to admit that I had a bit too much to drink on the plane. I'm experiencing the first class hangover...
Cheap Boss: I’m glad to see that you are putting the company’s money to good use... I better not see those drinks on your expense report.
Tim: Don’t worry Sir, you wont. The flight was overbooked and I received a free upgrade to first class. To maximize the value of the company’s money, I thoroughly utilized the services included with the upgrade...Jackass.
