Act the fool

This quote is similar to Ludacris' song "Act a fool", from 2Fast2Furious, which means "acting like a fool, in a desperate way" aka "last resort, trump card". However, this one means "act like a fool, while you're smarter than everyone else". Or in other words, "Trolling 101". It may be similar in some situations.... =)

"Act the fool" also means, in some countries, "fazer-se de parvo".
Crowd: "haha, that guy is such a tool! Let's make fun of him!!"
Guy 1: (thinking w/ a grin) "hehe.... they think I'm a fool. I'll show them!"
Guy 2: "Yeah man.... Act the fool..." (thumbs up)

Bonhoeffer fool

A person who willingly gives up their ability to think critically, especially in groups or under authority. Not necessarily unintelligent, just morally lazy and intellectually passive. They don’t question lies, they repeat them. Challenging or questioning their beliefs is often met with ridicule or judgment, because they can’t defend their views with reason, only emotion. They’re not evil, but they make evil possible.
“He doesn’t even believe what he’s saying, he just follows whatever his ‘side’ says. Total Bonhoeffer fool.”

“She just shut me down when I challenged her view on climate change. Classic Bonhoeffer fool, dismissing facts with a sneer.”

Psalms 116:6 reads

God only looks after children and fools ❤️

To understand that all adults are intact never to be so childish as to not laugh, it is Wise to do so in fact.

A person Can not be a child emotionally while walking firm in their adult-hood. You will be inclined to have foolish ways or do foolish things… Hence One would be a Fool (Bipolar; Schizophrenic)

or ie., /FOOL/: it is not a verb it is an Honorary Diagnosis.
For example When I attempted to Grow The Fuck Up & To be Always serious and in time never humorous 😒 (in spite of actually laughing) in life. Yes, It was SmarT, But It was Foolish, I had been sick.
