Baiting

Something posters do to gain post count. Posters post something dumb, waiting on other peoples posts so he can reply for some +1 post count. Also, posters can flame people as bait, so the person who was flamed will reply, and there will be a big argument, leading to alot of +1 post count. Largely used on the Vault Network forums (VN)

The Bait N' Tackle

The sailors used this one in the old Navy days. Before you go off for a long, lonely voyage, get yourself a tall jar and fill it completely with earthworms. When you get lonely, open the jar and fuck away. The earthworms will provide some slithery stimulation, and your protein load will keep them nicely fed. Gone fishing!

Making something really obvious that is illegal or something that if it got in the wrong hands could have a serious consequence such as the law enforcement.

Such as if you messaged someone on facebook trying to get illegal things:

Person 1: Hey dude can I get some of that illegal stuff off of you?
Person 2: Text me, because it is bait on here
