Schrödinger lie

A lie, typically a boast or hyperbole, that can be played of as a joke. Depending on if the audience believes the lie, the liar decides whether or not the statement was intended to be taken seriously.
"That wasn't a joke, it was a Schrödinger lie; you really thought we would believe that."

Lie

That's why they don't want you to talk to me. Because they know I'm not going to lie for them.
Hym "And they are trying to convince YOU that I'll come around eventually... But I won't. That's a lie. We aren't mutually explaining eachother's behavior either. I'M doing that. They are making things up because in a previous post I said the word 'you can just make some shit up' and they missed the point because they are dumb and don't have very good reading comprehension. They don't know anything about anything amd what that DO KNOW about me they are misinterpreting as a result of the poor reading comprehension. But they are also psychopaths so they are going to affirm the things I say to garner sympathy (from me) but they don't actually believe it. Right? This is hilarious."

Spirit of the lie

I called your religion a lie and now you're making up non-sequiturs to call everything I say a lie.
Hym "The 'spirit of the lie' is, I think, my favorite of your new wave of talking points. It demonstrates exactly how little agency you consider people to have over their own mind, it defends your ethos from criticism by framing anyone who isn't doing what you say as occupied by the wrong spirit (if they were doing what you say they'd be occupied by the spirit or truth) and, therefore, they've criticism is both invalidated and being levied by, not a person who can see where you're wrong... But by a lie-spirit that you don't actually have to engage with."
