Shaun of the Dead

Comedy...retake(ish) on Dawn of the Dead (see what they did with the name!) about the guy from Spaced (good Brit Sit-com) who is a bit dumb and having a shitty time. breaks up with his girl and suddenly zombies take over england (see the 28 days later connection...cool huh!?)

so they go to the pub (with his flat mate, girl 2 friends and mum) and end up beating the pub owner do death with pokers to Queens 'Dont Stop Me Now'

VERY British (you probs wont get it is your American unless youre Brit-ified) and VERY funny.

also have they guy from Black Books

*hits zombie with car... screech to a halt*
Shaun: are you ok?
Zombie: *with broken leg* Uurgg starts to get back up*
Shaun: Oh good!
*drive off*

Its something to randomly say no matter were you are or who your with! Just shouting it out will make all C.O.D. fans poke there heads up like ostiaries coming out of there holes.

Joe- hay man its pretty quite in this mall, lets go check out gamestop.

Steven- Your right it is to quite.......CALL OF THE DEAD!!!!!!

(Action- In Gamestop all C.O.D. players look around outside and become more aware then they once were)

beat the dead horse

An instance in which the "beater" of the horse will continue to try and make amusing comments until either
A.) Somebody makes a "pity laugh" (this is usually the person who originally told the joke) or:
B.) Everyone leaves.

This is a common occurrence when a moderately funny person loses their game, and is convinced that they are not off of their game.

The perfect example of beat the dead horse.

MD: "Yo wassup homeslice! I was just chillin like a felon up in hurr."
OM: "Oh, awesome."
MD: "Word it was so tite and of the hizzle son! Shit!"
AS: "umm cool"
MD: "Damn staraight Gangsta. I'z with all ma peeps."
JK: "thats great..."
MD: "You know what else is great? My dick!" (MD laughs at his own joke, hoping others will too.)
WH: "shut the hell up mark youre not funny"
JB: "Whack! Whack! Whack! Neeeiiigh!!"
MD: "Peace out haters"

the dead kennedy's

one of the best punk bands and possibly the best hardcore punk band of all time. Jello Biafra (first singer) had the quintessential punk rock voice. their songs mainly took aim at polotics. while there titles seemed vicious and evil (like 'kill the poor') they are usually metephorical for the issues that occurred around the time. they never sold out and they stayed true to their underground fanbase. they reformed in 2001 with a new singer, but have yet to leave their underground success behind them. a great band!

listen to 'holiday in cambodia' and you'll understand! ;) the dead kennedy's rock too hard!
