United States of Amnesia

1). A term used to describe Americas uncanny ability to forget things that happened in the near past. Americans are known to make enemies of countries and people who were allies yesterday because "we" quickly forget.

The United States of Amnesia forgot that WE supplied Saddam Hussein with most of his weapons...we called him part of the Axis of Evil and tried to kill him for possibly using them...on US.

As they say, yesterdays friend is tomorrows enemy.

I think I have adnesia because I can't remember what program we are watching.

A condition that afflicts restaurant patrons after they order their meals; the server brings the food to the table and nobody can remember what they ordered, staring blankly at the server as he calls out the name of the dish burning his hand.

Server: Wow, that table had a bad case of order amnesia, I think I called out, "steak fajitas for two", at least a dozen times!

usually happen among touchscreen phone user,when they keep tapping the screen of non touchscreen phone without realize it's not a touchscreen phone and it has a real keypad
