A relationship based off of texting only. Most of the couples' intimate moments, deep conversations, and inside jokes happen over texting. If you see them together, it's never for a long period of time, because they'd rather be texting. Also, talking on the phone NEVER happes!

The state in which two people text/DM/IM each other constantly yet never actually form a legitimate relationship. This can happen based on distance, family obligations, and other circumstances. Also called bullcrapping.

Dude 1: hey man, I see you and dudette talk a lot. You guys serious?

Dude 2: nah man, we just have a textationship

The awkward texting relationship that follows a one night stand, when one party is looking for a relationship but the other clearly is not.

1) Audrey had a one night stand with that guy last night now she's in some weird ass textationship.
2) When Mitch had sexual intercourse with the chick from the party he accidentally gave the woman his number before he left the next day, now she's texting him wanting to hang out.
