That, sure, but also that petty, smug, self-righteous people like you have created a system that allows you to reward yourselves for being petty, smug, self-righteous while simultaneously inflating the value of your lives while deferring the cost to the dregs of society. You're perfectly fine with me being impoverished but you are doing this to me because you don't think you should have to pay the price for doing it. Hugging your kids? Telling yourself you were better than the people who weren't?
