I my self came across the word after watching RHCP and took it on as a way to describe the pain i got from taking a painful hit into the shin during skateboarding.

Soon after it got bigger, but i ain't saying that i came up withit seaming i started saying it back when that video came out...

Shindig McGig

A person who holds an event that they believe will raise there social status in life while in reality, it does absolutly nothing for them except break the bank.

Shindig McGig hold a party, has a couple kegs at his place, puts the invite out to anyone and everyone, anyone and everyone shows up kegs get drank DVDs, frozen pizzas, beers from fridge, liquor from freezer, cars from the street (to be put in the ditch by Coolguy McGees), anything small enough to fit into their pockets, and even the kegs will be lucky to make it through the night in the home of Shindig McGig.
