a term used to insult one who makes a stupid mistake or suggestion, also in some contexts can be a synonym for "noob", specifically when used while playing an online game.

Compare with n00b/newb/noob Differs from "noob" slightly in skill level, but still isn't pro and probably never will be. In short, a scrub goes through the motions, but truly has no clue what they are doing.
