Mine-Fuck

Playing Minecraft and thinking you have an item in your inventory, but when checking a second time, noticing it isn't really there. Or, seeing something in-game, and taking a double-take only to realize what you saw was never there. Similiar to Mind Fuck.

Player:Holy Shit! Was that diamond ore just now?!...

To place the tips of the fingers against one's own forehead, as if trying to access something recalcitrant from the brain.

(Derived from "mind meld," coined by the original television series Star Trek, referring to a technique employed by Mr. Spock to access the thoughts and emotions of another being.)

From a prose adaptation of David Mamet's Glengarry Glen Ross:

"...how are you?" Ricky asked, finally noticing George's agitation.

"Fine.... You mean the board? How am I doing on the board?"

"Okay," Ricky said, slightly bewildered. "The board."

Mine Goblin

Mine goblins are creatures of folklore derived from stories told from generation to generation by the people of Sawcon, Russia. They are said to live in mines and prey on miners excavating their habitats. One of the most popular stories of mine goblins, has to be the story of Candice. In this legend, a girl named Candice supposedly comes sick with a case of ligma, but the only way she could cure her ligma, was by obtaining the legendary stone of Sugma. She went into the mines of her hometown (Sawcon), and searched for the glowing red jewel. She unfortunately ran into a group of mine goblins, who ate her alive. The end. It is thought that parents would tell their kids this story in the hopes that their children wouldn't go into the dangerous mines.

Mine Field

Well first you need a bunch of friends,2 liters of sprite, a handle of cheap vodka, and 50 of those dixie cups that you swished your mouth out after brushing teeth when your younger. So half the cups get sprite and the other half vodka. Mix them all up and place them on a round table where everyone can stand around. The first goes and you pick a cup, if its sprite you move on to the next person, if its vodka keep going til you get sprite. Then just go around the circle til everyone has had there fix. Drink Responsibly.
