Choppa

"Choppa" or "Chopper" is a term used since Al Capone's age to refer to fully automatic small barreled guns, wich, in theory, could easily chop out someone's limps due to the amount of shots fired in a single spot in a short period of time, usually shot from very near the target.

Back in the day it was used to refer to the Thompson gun, but with urban violence rising and AR-15 and AK-47 plataforms becoming more acessible, AR Pistols and Dracos started to be used a lot by gangs, in order to have a great amount of stopping power in a submachine gun sized weapon, what made them "perfect" for small territory defense and drive by shootings, activities heavily practiced by those gangs. With these rifle caliber pistols becoming more common, the term "Choppa" gradually became used for all kinda guns used for gang activities, including those who are not SBR's neither AR/AK pistols/SMG's, even these last are the first thought majority of people have when they hear the word "Choppa".
"We gon pull up wit them sticks and Hop out 'em wit them Choppers"

"Wanna know the rules os slidin? First go get you a ski, then go get yourself a Choppa, pull up, hop out on feet"

chopped and screwed

When a song is screwed, that means it's slowed down a bit. "Chopping" is when you have the record on one turntable, and the same record on another turntable but delayed one beat, then you crossfade between the two for a beat to double up a half-second part. Usually you "chop" on the fourth beat to double up the first beat of the next measure. DJs often use the "flanger" effect on one of the records to make the chops "swoop."
