AS a verb, battleshipping refers to hooking up with all of the members of a particular entity. That can be as few as two for a dorm room or 500 for an entire dorm with everything in between. Generally used to refer to a house or apartment but any situation where all people involved are connected (does not have to apply to the battleshipper) is acceptable. Can either be seen as an accomplishment (generally for a male battleshipper) or as a warning to avoid (generally for a female battleshipper). Once the last member of the battleship has been "destroyed" the battleship is deemed sunk.
