When a friend comes over supposedly to hangout, but in reality their internet has gone down and they are using you to get a broadband connection.
Person 1: Hey it's been a while let's catch up.
Person 2: Come right over.
Person 1: I'll be bringing my laptop so I can talk while I work.
Person 2: Wait a minute, is this a bandwidth booty call?

Boss: "I want you to redesign all those graphics 2% smaller, and put the invoices in reverse alphabetical order and staple my agenda packets perfectly parallel to the top of the page, exactly 1/8" down, and blah, blah, blah"
Employee: "Boss-Dude....you're sucking all my bandwidth"

A nitwit who directlinks/hotlinks to graphics or other bandwidth intensive content hosted on your site (and dime) without permission, costing you money every time someone views it on their site with absolutely no benefit to you.

If you use an adblocker, and try to download a rom/an iso from Vimm site, OR
if you use Bing or DuckDuckGo and their search results show Vimm site, this message appears.
(This is one of the longest words to ever defined on UrbanDict as long as my longest word to ever submit.)

1. A portion of the electromagnetic frequency spectrum, typically used in reference to the transmission of radio frequency signals: e.g. "an analog television channel has a bandwidth of six megahertz"
2. The rate of data transfer over a specific time period, usually expressed either in bits or bytes per second: e.g. "my internet connection provides has a bandwidth of one hundred megabits per second."
3. A word often incorrectly used by business persons or others as a lame excuse for their unwillingness to perform a particular task or project, whilst trying to appear intelligent: (Also see "too busy.")

When you place a call on your cell phone and you get the annoying recording saying that "the person you are trying to reach is unavailable at this time, please try your call again later" and then the phone disconnects. Millions of morons are twittering, twattering, texting, sexting, calling, watching videos and otherwise tying up valuable bandwidth so your most important call can't go through.
Dude one- Damn I am trying to reach my babe and all I keep getting is this stupid recording saying to try the call again later.
Dude two- Sounds like you fell off the bandwidth, man.
