To obscure another writer's tag or piece with your own. This often occurs when two writers or street artists battle for the same wall. This is can be considered a sign of disrespect especially if your tag is inferior.
In madrid there are a lot of good street artists, but it's a shame that after a good piece is thrown up it takes less that 3 days until some toy flip tags it.

Like candy flipping, but instead of just taking molly and lsd one takes molly, lsd, cocaine, mushrooms, weed and whipits. Preferably done in the middle of a desert for full euphoric effect.
