Anxiety nap

When you tilt your head back in a social event, and pretend to just be chill, but inside you're dying because you said the wrong thing, don't know what to say, just regret your whole life, or other anxiety related things.

Alex: Hell yeah! This guy gets it. I wish everyone could stop being shy assholes, and just be chill like my guy over here.
Sam: Ha heh
John: What? He is shy, and you just said that to his face. You're the asshole!
Sam in his head: I'm taking an anxiety nap for a fucking reason John! You should have just let Alex go so I can get back to practicing how I should have laughed in my head. Now I have to find an excuse to be shy.

dad nap

A nap that dads take in the evening before actually going to bed. Usually in their recliner and between 8:00-11:00 pm

Dad always brags about being up early but we all know he’s taking that dad nap in his chair by 8 pm.

Nap Over

A not entirely innocent sleep over at someone else's house, generally occurring after a night out when one is not entirely forthcoming about their late night sleeping arrangements.

Used most often by girls who are slightly embarrassed about their activities.

Katie: Suzy, did you have a nap over at Tim's last night?
Suzy: (blushes) yip (giggles)
Katie: (giggles)

tv nap

What your dh is having on the couch with the tv on. He says he's not sleeping, but he couldn't tell you what just happened in the movie he is purportedly watching. And there are very suspicious sounds extremely similar to snoring coming from the couch area.

"Where's Steve?"

"Oh, he's in the man cave having a tv nap".
