A collection of generally upper class, gay, trans, and/or autistic individuals who follow politics with a fetish.

Split between ConET and LibET, which are in a constant battle for “worst political take in existence.”

ConET is divided between the wealthy and generally WASP “Neocons,” led by an endless number of Reagan pfps. Their occasional ally, and permanent enemy, the Rust Belt Catholic populists, who worship Trump. These MAGA populists and the Reagan old guard LARP relentlessly about their wing of the party.

Across the aisle, LibeET is a diverse group of commies, tankies, faux moderates, and other assorted leftists. They are in constant rage about something, and are rarely coherent.

All in all, its an incredibly ridiculous space full of Gen Z and Gen Z adjacent terminally online hacks.

Electionsplaining

A condescending rhetorical move where someone explains political outcomes to others—often from a position of assumed expertise or outsider status—as if election results were simple, obvious, and conclusive. "Let me explain why your side lost" becomes a way of dismissing opposition views without engagement. The term plays on "mansplaining" but applies to electoral analysis: the assumption that election results are transparent, that losers just don't get it, and that the explainer's interpretation is obviously correct. Electionsplaining uses electoral outcomes as a cudgel to silence dissent.

Election Twitter

A community on X (Twitter) made up of autistic gay people (or homophobes depending on the party).

These people either cope and whine about elections or argue over autistic predictions for elections. There is Conservative ET (Con ET) which has prominent voices such as Luc J. Gagnon, and there is Liberal ET (Lib ET) which also has its prominent voices, such as Winter Politics.
