My Chemical Romance is a American Band from Newark, NJ. Due to all the rumors and judgement against MCR they are a great band with all different subjects in their songs. They deny any label and have not claimed to be goth, punk, emo or anything. Gerard Way struck out against fans and bands that classify My Chemical Romance as "Emo", saying that; “I think emo is fucking garbage, it's bullshit. I think there's bands that unfortunately we get lumped in with that are considered emo and by default that starts to make us emo.” and, "I think emo's a pile of shit." < gerards comment found from wikipedia. they are just a band. They have been critisized by Marilyn Manson and critics but this doesn't bring the band down and they have great shows

popular "emo band", listened to by, stupid emo kids and posers. they only got popular because of those dumbasses at MTV, playing their crappy songs. kids see mcr on MTV, and think they're "SoO0Oo k3wL". and then they go around labeling themselves, 'punk' or 'goth'. those kids don't know what punk and goth really is. gerard way is a horrible singer. he can't sing for shit. those posers who listen to mcr probably listen to green day too.
