(noun) Working fast so that there can be more work coming your way in the future. Largely a state induced by poverty or lack of financial security.

G: I really admire her work ethic, I can't believe she's a super worker.
Me: It's really the monk effect, I hope she's in a better place financially soon.
G: Yes, but till then let's enjoy the super productivity!
