Street name for crack cocaine mostly used within the west coast region of the US.

Cocaine is typically snorted thru the nose or applied to the gums (gummies/ gummers ). In its powder form (cocaine hydrochloride, or HCL), cannot be smoked.

In order to make the substance smoke-able you must change its structure by removing the cocaine base from the salt form so that the base can be smoked or injected, turning it into crack cocaine. This freebase form has the potential to illicit a much stronger effect, smoking/shooting-up(IV) are usually the most desired routes of administration for heavy users since the high from cocaine has a very short duration.
