Friend

A word that people use however they want. Sometimes it means someone you have no romantic interest in, sometimes it does. This word causes a lot of confusion because no one ever knows what the other person means when they say they are "friends" with them.

Beck: "I'm so confused. Dean told me to never leave his side because he'd never leave mine. He talks to me for hours and says super sentimental things all the time.
