text traffic

when you are texting many people at once and your inbox gets so backlogged that you can't find the people that you want to text. when in this situation, especially when texting five or more people, you end up texting the wrong person and drama ensues, thus causing more traffic.

"oh my god this text traffic is so confusing i'm just not going to answer any of these people"

text houdini

A person who texts you and then randomly stops responding back to you as if disappearing off the earth in a Houdini-esque manner. Can be frustrating when a significant other acts like this repeatedly.

Chick- "Hey how are you?
Guy- "I'm doing quite well. what's up?"
..........No response...................
Guy- "Hello? Did you get abducted by pirates?"
Guy- "Text houdini?"

That annoying situation when one or both people in a text conversation are using smart phones and text each other so rapidly to get their points across it appears they are talking over each other. In regular conversation, said texter(s) or would be known as that rude person who always interrupts you.

itexter: hey do you want to go to dinner?
avgjoe: typing...(i would love to-)
itexter: we can go to that sushi place
avgjoe: dismisses message, keeps typing (...but i have-)
itexter: i know you said you wasted to last week
itexter: hahaha *wanted
avgjoe: I CANT!!

avgjoe: I hate when you text over me!!

Text Break

When you find yourself always texting your boyfriend or girlfriend first but stop for as long as you can in order to see how long it would take for them to text you first. Usually ends up with the intended partner cutting off all communications because they arent interested in how you feel or how your day is going or what you are doing. Said partner is usually only interested in sex but leads you to think otherwise.

Kate knew she was getting played after she decided to go on a text break and Adam forgot she existed.

Someone who brings to mind just how hot they are even through text. You are stoked when they text you and quite often flirt with you through text messaging. It's the person who in your presence is eye candy and when they text you can still turn you on.

The act of receiving or sending even simple texts to/from someone who gets you stoked.
