Among Us

A video game that was created in 2018 by Innersloth and somehow blew up in late 2020. It started to die out in early 2021, partially due to a stupid update which added "quick chat", a weird chat system that isn't quick at all, according to literally everyone. In March-April 2021, innersloth added a new map, called "the airship", alongside the accounts update, which was hated by the Among Us community, mainly because it was very buggy. Afterwards, they decided to change the art style, add new colors and 11-15 player lobbies. I think they've also added new roles. At the time I'm writing this, it's 2022 and the game is somehow still alive, especially the unfunny, overused memes, like "When the imposter is sus!!1!1!1!1!", which I see ALL THE DAMN TIME! Like, can Among Us just die already?

Me: Isn't it dead?
Among Us player: What? Of course not!
Me: ...
Among Us player: So, do you wanna play or not?
Me: No.
Among Us player: Why?
Me: I don't play Among Us.
Among Us player: But you did.

Me: Because I don't play Among Us!

Among Usc is an online multiplayer social deduction game developed and published by American game studio Innersloth. It was released on iOS and Android devices in June 2018 and on Windows in November 2018, featuring cross-platform play between these platforms.14 The game was also released on the Nintendo Switch in December 2020, and has planned releases for the Xbox One and Xbox Series X and Series S in 2021.

The game takes place in a space-themed setting, in which players each take on one of two roles, most being Crewmates, and a predetermined number being Impostors.d The goal of the Crewmates is to identify the Impostors, eliminate them, and complete tasks around the map; the Impostors' goal is to covertly sabotage and kill the Crewmates before they complete all of their tasks. Players suspected to be Impostors may be eliminated via a plurality vote, which any player may initiate by calling an emergency meeting (except during a crisis) or reporting a dead body. Crewmates win if all Impostors are eliminated or all tasks are completed whereas Impostors win if there is an equal number of Impostors and Crewmates, or if a critical sabotage goes unresolved.
