Maybe it’s because she’s got headphones on, she’s looking at her phone or her surroundings a lot to keep track of why she’s out in the first place and who is around her, and she doesn’t make eye contact or really smile at anyone. She’s not in a bad mood, she just doesn’t want to be approached by anyone with romantic (or, maybe even platonic) intentions of getting to know her.
