Having an online chat with someone that would be considered rude, nasty or mean if it were in person or overheard by strangers or the people who are being spoken about, but the buffer of being online softens it. Frequently bitchy, catty or petty, it is nevertheless entertaining as hell to the participants, who wonder why they are never this funny when they are in the same room.

Get the Sarcasti-chatmug. A chat-creeper is someone who starts online dms or convos with you when you’re trying to play a game, etc. They usually start out with small talk & minor questions but if you actually interact with them, they get flirty & thirsty. If you ignore them, they don’t quit but instead will get all butt-hurt & keep asking you why you’re ignoring them. Both these scenarios usually end with them insulting you & you blocking them.
Friend 1: “I can’t even play Words With Friends without some chat-creeper trying to hit on me.”
Friend 2: “Yeah, I get those all the time on Tinder. Why can’t they get a fucking clue?”

Get the img chatmug. Chat speak is largely used on the internet, in text messages, in notes passed in class, and sometimes in spoken speech. In its most basic essence, chat speak is a thorough mutilation of the English language, created by teenagers who refuse to learn said language.
Beware of chat speak users. If a person is too lazy to learn the difference between "Let's eat, Grandma." and "lets eat grandma" they are probably too lazy to understand that it is wrong to actually eat one's grandmother.
