The Corner Gate

The corner of the playground which will forever be marked to the class of 2019 class. normally inhabited by the “popular kids” was the back to base start line every time it was also fun to just shove people into the gates so it made a loud noise and scared the teachers. also there’s a weird creepy drain that we pulled up once and we saw a whole load of 💩. 4/10 not a nice experience but it was funny.

Person 1 - Hey you comming to The Corner Gate

today?

Person 2 - Duh, we’re playing back to base today

Person 1 - okay i’ll see you after lunch i’ve got hot meal

Person 2 - i’ve got packed lunch so we can meet at the benches

A location that can be figurative or literal where you go when you are privy to something that is so cringe-worthy that you just want to pull a cloak of invisibility over your head and disappear until you regain composure.

That old man at the coffee shop made another racist joke and wondered why I didn't laugh. He and I were the only ones in the room and during the awkward silence, I just wanted to go to my cringe corner.

Term used in the earlier days meaning prostitute. They use the term "corner hop" because in some places you are able to see the prostitutes standing at a street corner and when you stop your car infront of them, they hop in.
