Lame

Something that so-called cool people will call you when they think how you are and/or what your interests are don't measure up to popular opinion or what their personal standards are. They will call you "lame" when in reality, you're just original and you are not afraid to be yourself and pursue a course that makes you who you are.

The jocks think we are lame because we are members of the art club.

lame linking

lamers usually link not to the website but only to the content/download. therefore a content provider will have the impact of traffic but not the advantage of receiving page views/ad clicks.

This was especially frowned up in the 90s when traffic was expensive and led to download pre-pages and up to the kind of file share storage providers you still see to day.

content provider: dude, if you lame link my stuff, no one will click on the ads on my page and I have to take it all down eventually.

lamer: but I don't have anything original except that "great" link collection.
content provider: stop lame linking! ( had to include that line, because stemming would be too hard (◔_◔))

Celebrity lame

Celebrity lameness is when they got a lot of followers and fans who support them and they don’t ever do anything interesting or post content on social media. Not even for months. It’s like we voted for the wrong USA idol. They don’t even post new music or movies or tv shows depending on what they do. Music or movies or tv shows. Or even athletes. But they need to post stuff about their sporting events.

This celebrity lame, come on let’s leave don’t come back or watch anything they do anymore.
