Selective Homophobia

1) Being supportive of the LGBTQ+ people you know, while being discriminatory towards the LGBTQ+ community as a whole.
2) Thinking the LGBTQ+ people you know are some how outliers of the LGBTQ+ community.
3) When LGBTQ+ people you know don't fit your prejudice stereotypes. Thus causing cognitive dissonance that is cured by believing the person you know is somehow different from other LGBTQ+ people.

Me: You are using selective homophobia to justify your overall homophobic ideals inorder to attempt to be friends with me.

Karen: My daughter is queer, I love and support her!
Marsha: Didn't you vote for Trump?

Select & Save

Commonly known as Shit & Save, the shop formely known as Nisa was taken over by Shit & Save during the 2008 summer holidays and is now green and shit. Students from King Edwards school now have to be faced with aisles at a stupid angle that completely disorientate you. Its pretty shit. Prices are beyond shit (e.g. Munchies for 59p omgg) and along with the disorientating angled aisles the pears are just shit and are no where near up to standard. Everyone is really confused as to what to call Shit & Save after calling in nisa for so long and its lowering the average gcse grades of the local schools.
