Get the true dat mug.Once there was a popular kid at school who thought it would be funny to say "true story" after every sentence, regardless of if it was actually a story or not. All of the unpopular kids saw him doing it and thought they could be cool if they did it as well. Eventually people started saying it on facebook and myspace. Now every kid under the age of 13 (and some unfortunate older people) think that it makes them funny, ironic, and cool to repeat "true story" whenever they speak.
