A pulpit culpit --- I mean, a pulprit culprit... whatever! A creepy preacher who uses terrifying "fire and brimstone" tales to try to scare his parishioners into following his own pet version of religion.

Warren Jeffs was a classic menaceter in that he used fear of the "Great One" to pressure his congregation to do his selfish and often-illegal bidding.

According to a violent-crimes-per-100,000-residents map of da U.S., Alaska and a number of southern states are actually da most dangerous, so I dunno why Menaceota would be of significance in dat regard.
