The Book of Flies has increasingly become synonymous with death because of the urban myth associated with it. It is said to be a book that supposedly came from a small group of hackers. It not only is said to tell how the reader will die, but also shows how the reader is responsible for the death of others. Although the urban myth does not give an indication that the intentions of the book are to wreak vengeance, it is becoming associated with revenge.
