Compulsive gamblers, daily options traders, and shit/memecoin traders tend to ironically label themselves as this. They are willing to risk their last dollar or go into debt for another taste of the action. Other vices such as alcohol, cocaine, and hookers synergize well with the lifestyle. All degens are degenerates, but not all degenerates are degens.
