triplets

A drum beat played with a double bass pedal. Triplets are a 3/4 timing (waltz) beat, meaning that there are three counts in each measure (1-2-3, 1-2-3). A simple triplet beat can be played by keeping a steady double bass beat and adding a cymbal hit every three beats and a snare hit every six beats.

Jason Bittner from Shadows fall is famous for playing triplets.

tripstreaming

The practice of getting one green light after another because you happen to be driving in the same direction as a train running in parallel and at more or less the same speed next to the roadway you're on. As you and the train approach a grade-level crossing, the train trips the traffic light in its favor, which then also favors drivers.

I went tripstreaming to the bank today and saved 10 minutes.
