A team and club built on buying players for daft amounts of money, and a definate 'has been' in world football. They purchase players on the basis of marketability and shirt sales, and throw them together on a pitch expecting to win things. They also have fans who wave white hanckerchiefs when they arn't happy, and make absolutly no noise/atmosphere during a match.

Person 1 - 'Real Madrid were even by Liverpool today'

Person 2 - 'Wow, they are shite!'

Real Madrid

A Dutch football club based in Madrid, Spain. Known as being the most successful football club in the world having won the Champions League 9 times, the Spanish League a record 31 times, and the Copa Del Rey 17 times.

Also known for having way too many Dutch players such as Ruud van Nistelrooy, Wesley Sneijder, Arjen Robben, Rafael van der Vaart, Royson Drenthe, and most recently acquiring, Klass-Jan Huntelaar.

Real Madrid is basically the Dutch National team just with better defenders. However, not too much better because the Real Madrid defenders have been rather shitty in recent weeks.
