Illiterate

A user on a website who lacks the proper literacy skills needed to communicate properly. They spell words with "shorthand" spelling, known as chatspeak. Words are spelled with singly letters, number replace letters in some words.

These people claim that they type that way because it's quicker & easier, which shows tell-tale signs of lazyness. They accuse people who type properly of being elitists.

In some circles, used as a synonym for incompotent in any way, regardless of any reading ability. For example, it could be used to describe a bad driver, someone who sucks at videogames, or someone who fails a test.

Grocery store illiterate

When someone is told to get a specific item at the store and they come back with something totally wrong/different/random.

Or, when one cannot find a very simple and/or easily displayed item at the grocery store.
I asked Brian to get green chiles for my taco salad and the fool came back with hormel chili in a can, he is so grocery store illiterate.

"Excuse me, where are the candy bars?" -brian
