fearghal

An Irish name meaning 'bright man'. 'Fear' means 'man' in Irish and 'ghal' takes the place of 'geal', which means bright. Fearghal is another variation of the names 'Fergal' (the most popular one), 'Feargal' and 'Ferghal'.

Fearghal's are known to be brave, intelligent (as their name implies), popular and funny, though they have a very hot temper, and you don't want to get on their bad side.

Person 1: "I heard Fearghal hit some guy at a party last night?"
