Get the elevated handslap mug.An 'elevator glitch' is a computer game term. Mainly used for online multiplayer games, whereby, a player/avatar leaves the 'game areana' or map floating vertically (as if in an invisible elevator)by means that the developer clearly didn't intend.
whilst during a call of duty modern warfare 2 game, finding a spot whereby the charcter crawls in between an object which will not allow him to stand up, then moves slighty so they are between the point the can stand and cannot stand. Thus an Elevator Glitch occurs floating the charcter into the air.

When someone intentionally pushes your buttons, and takes you there (even though it's not a place you want to get to).
When white people pretend to be well-intentioned (possibly while giving backhanded compliments), yet repeatedly over-step boundaries or do microaggressions intentionally until you snap.
