Chromebook

Chromebooks are 50/50, you might find an absolute piece of garbage, or might find a one that's running great! With Linux and Android apps, they added more options then just apps that run on Google Chrome, but Chrome is the main focus of Chrome OS. Most Chromebooks are in the budget territory of $50-$300, but some are painstakingly expensive like the Pixelbook for example, it just depends on your opinion, just like every just other piece of tech.

Chromebook

A cheap computer that is good for schools trying to get a good bang for their buck, but they cannot run intensive apps. They are not bad, but their operating system was designed in a way so they cannot download and run apps unless you turn on Linux (beta). They can be fast, and unless you need downloaded apps like steam, then you will be fine with one. Some have pretty good parts, like Core i7s and 16 gigabytes of RAM.

Person 2: It really depends on your use case.
