A politically correct version of "It ain't over till the fat lady sings". It means that one should not presume to know the outcome of an season or event which is still in progress. A phrase is used when a situation or season is (or appears to be) nearing its conclusion. It cautions against assuming that the current state of an season or event is irreversible and clearly determines how or when the event will end. The phrase is most commonly used in association with the end of the winter season pending the last frost.

Patience is a virtue; meaning one's morals to not get upset from having to wait
that is until it starts to bleed; meaning it resulted in disappointment and anger regarding the hard work you went through to wait for it

Patience is a virtue until it bleeds, I worked so hard and waited, but it ended up not working out in my favor, now I'm left with anger and disappointment

When passing a joint you do not want back, it is courtesy to estimate the percentage left before the joint will burn you. You may also say "hit it untill it stops moving" to indicate the person being passed said joint may continue smoking it untill there is nothing left, or untill they are satisfied.
Billy- "here you go man, it has about 10% left in it, you can hit it untill it stops moving, I'm good."
Tom- "sweet, thanks brah."

Until they zip your bag
Military combat slang, for the rest of your life, until you are zippered into a body bag.
Once you are a member of this Corp, you will continue to be a member until they zip your body bag!

Staying until the very end. Western Canadian (possibly Great Plains) expression possibly referring to public hangings.
We stayed at the concert until the last dog was hung.
