Dupe

A duplicate version of a product, usually a cheaper version that is (supposed to be) indistinguishable from the original. A knock-off.

Short for duplicate, dupes are less-expensive alternatives to brand-name products.

This Target purse is a Gucci dupe.

noun - a set of stairs toward located in a part of the house that makes it easier for someone to escape
