Tard is a term used to call someone out or just plainly call them stupid. It has thru time evolved from "retard" into "tard". the reason for this transition is due to the mainstream media completely alienating the word "retard", the reason for the alieanation is the evoloution of the word, as the meaning is a mentally handicapped person which over time grew to stupid, the word was unliked by the mentally handicapped because of its mainstream use as a insult. due to this it has gained an offensive meaning to it, even though it didnt start that way. "tard" tried to capture the same feeling as the original when used as a insult.

(in this example it is used while playing a game)
"Mark: you tard! you have to press the F button! Phil: it isn't my fault this game is built like trash!"

(in this example it is a classroom)
"jock: hey tard, catch! nerd: oww! don't throw that at me, and I'm not a tard!"

The name used for all the supporters and fans of The Melbourne Victory. A team that competes in the A League National Soccer competition held in Australia. Although this competition has fans Australia wide the ones from Melbourne always seem to be that one step behind. Their stupidity is only exceeded by their lack of vocalisation skills
