A Thomas is someone who appears as a very likeable and nice colleague at first sight. In reality he or she only pretends to be likeable and nice hoping that he or she will be able to dig up dirt on you which he or she can report to his superiors at work. A Thomas does this hoping that he will be able cash in his snitching credits in the future, for example when applying for a higher position.
