Runescape is a MMORPG, or Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (mouthfull, isn't it?), made be JAGEX, and it runs in Java. This game is fun, if you know how to play it. If you spend days trying to chop to 99, you'll be bored. There's over 20 skills to train, although most are for P2P only. There's also over 400 quests, with 150 for free to plays, the rest are long, but for P2P. The game is highly addictive, but if you pace yourself, you know when enough it enough. Set goals (they have a system for that) and leave notes. You can also give yourself parental controls, to not play too much. Make sure you make yourself 13, or else you can't talk. There's noobs, there's some bots, and there's some jerks.

Get the RuneScape mug.Horrible game that draws young kids into completing characters. Peoples been playing this for close to 15+ years some of them addicted to the point where they will sell their stuff, drugs, or bodies for in game currency. People don't realize when you sit for 12 hours in a computer chair with out moving, that you are crippling your body. You can form blood clots in your legs and when you stand they can go to your brain or lungs which will cause you to die. in my years of playing I always put my legs up on the desk to keep them elevated. also take a good long thought about the colors in the game you are seeing. when you stare into that false world for that long of time it really messes with your vision such as color blindness and epilepsy. last time i played a few months ago i tried to buy a bond on EOC (runescape 3) and i was paying like 50 mill with out any selling so nobody is even playing anymore its all robots. i havent played since. i think of the years ive been playing when i could have been bonding with my brother. this game made me totally forget about him. i wasnt even calling him. when i log in now days i take 1 look at the screen and say " what am i doing?" and log out. then i go do something active.
